Emma Pettifer Richardson Interior Design has been trading for more than 14 years, we have been at our current showrooms for 9 years. The company was started by Emma Richardson after leaving Bellehouse Interiors in London where she worked after qualifying at the Inchbald School of Interior Design. Emma has also spent time in the fabric industry working for one of France's premier fabric manufacturers, Pierre Frey. Most of our clients live within an hour of York but we have undertaken projects for clients as far north as Scotland and as far south as Kent. We have courier and credit card facilities for mail order enquiries. |

Chris Richardson, Emma's brother, joined the company in 2004 as Sales and Marketing Manager. Chris' experience includes years of marketing and purchasing, he looks after our accounting and commercial systems. Chris also undertakes our curtain and blind fitting which was taken in-house in 2005.
Janet Neilson is our Senior Designer and Office Manager, Janet joined the company full time in 2005 after running her own curtain making and interior design company for a number of years.
Laura Ashbridge has worked for us since 2003 and looks after the showroom every Saturday, she is fully up to date with all our sample books and able to help with all aspects of design.
